These Privacy Rules explain how Rentlio d.o.o. collects, uses and protects the personal data of participants of the Rediscover event (hereinafter: the “event”).

What data we collect

• first and last name
• business email and telephone number
• profile information (e.g. hotelier, exhibiting partner, media)
• whether you are a user of our software solutions and information about the technologies you use
• LinkedIn URL (optional)
• accommodation-related information, including the name of any colleague you share accommodation with

Purposes of processing

With your consent, we process your data for the following purposes: organising and delivering the Rediscover event; communicating key event information before, during and immediately after the event; sharing your contact details with event partners.

Legal basis for processing

The data we collect for participation in the event (e.g. name and contact details) are processed on the legal bases of (i) necessity for the performance of a contract and (ii) our legitimate interest to organise and promote the event, including reasonable post-event communications with participants and sharing data with partners for networking and experience exchange.

With whom we share data

We may share your data with: service providers we use to organise the event (e.g. the registration and email platform ActiveCampaign); event partners.

Where data are processed

Data are stored in the ActiveCampaign platform. If personal data are transferred outside the EU, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with the GDPR.

How long we retain data

Data necessary for participation in the event are retained until the end of the event and for no longer than 6 months thereafter for administrative purposes, or sooner if you withdraw your consent for processing.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to request: access to your data; correction or deletion of your data; restriction of processing; withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal); lodging a complaint with the supervisory authority. Third-party data

If you provide personal data of a third party when registering for the event, you must first obtain that person’s consent to the submission of their personal data.
